Modern Slavery

This voluntary statement has been published to set out our commitment to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken we will take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

This statement has been produced in line with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Although we are not currently required to publish a statement, we do so voluntarily to demonstrate our commitment to lawful and ethical business practices.

Our Structure and Activities

We provide medical and clinical governance services within the United Kingdom.  Our operations are limited to professional services delivered by regulated healthcare professionals and administrative staff.

Risk Assessment

We have assessed the risk of modern slavery within our directly managed operations as low.  Our workforce consists primarily of regulated professionals engaged under UK employment or contractor arrangements.

Our supply chain risk is also assessed as low to moderate.  Our suppliers are predominantly UK-based professional service providers, software vendors, and office service providers.  We do not operate in high-risk jurisdictions or sectors commonly associated with labour exploitation.

This assessment is reviewed annually.

Due Diligence

We take proportionate steps to mitigate risk, including:

  • Engaging suppliers that are established, reputable, and UK-regulated where applicable.
  • Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with applicable employment and anti-slavery laws.
  • Reserving contractual rights to terminate relationships where serious legal or ethical breaches are identified.

Where concerns arise, we will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include suspension or termination of the relationship and, where required, reporting to the relevant authorities.

Policies and Training

Staff are made aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the indicators of exploitation.  Concerns can be raised through internal reporting channels and will be investigated appropriately.
